DORA's 2024 distribution puts the 90th percentile around 2% CFR, 75th around 5%, 50th around 10%, and 25th around 18% DORA 2024 Report2024. The curve is highly skewed; most of the population sits in the 5-22% band.

How to read the curve
The y-axis is the percentile rank (higher = better; closer to elite). The x-axis is the CFR itself. A CFR of 5% maps to roughly the 70th percentile; a CFR of 15% maps to roughly the 35th. The curve flattens past 30% because the long tail is sparsely populated.
